Since 2007 NorthWoods has offered professionalism and renovation expertise to REO resale properties. Hybrid Homes was created to put the pieces together needed to successfully complete FHA 203(k) Financed Purchase and Renovations for Home Buyers. Hybrid Homes fills the gap as a Specialist Contractor with the knowledge and expertise previously absent to facilitate the underutilized FHA 203(k) renovation loan program.

Daryl Whiteside

Hybrid Homes is the brainchild of General Manger Daryl Whiteside. Daryl is a third generation builder with a reputation for leadership, innovation and productivity in the California new homebuilding industry. Leveraging his experience of procedural efficiencies found in upgrade and options programs of the production new home building industry, Hybrid Homes is able to offer the benefits of Financed Customized Personalization of re-sale houses to Home Buyers.

Daryl brings to Hybrid Homes over 30 years of experience in homebuilding and renovation including the design, development, construction, marketing, selling and financing of over 6000 homes. Daryl is a Certified HUD/FHA 203(k) Consultant.

While keenly observing the evolving challenges in the mortgage lending industry and real estate market, he foresaw the tremendous need for the renovation of distressed properties to be financed within the purchase loan with a low down payment. Whiteside made it his mission to create a solution to the previously tarnished reputation of the FHA 203(k) program caused by inconsistent performance resulting in industry resistance to recommend the underutilized product.
