Warranty: Protecting Your Investment

Our quality control guidelines have been formed by the book, California Building Performance Guidelines for Residential Construction, by David E. MacLellan.

As defined in the CALIFORNIA BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS CODES and CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE for GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTORS licensed in the STATE OF CALIFORNIA:

One Year Warranty
NorthWoods warrants the products and materials installed to be free from defects in accordance with industry standards, applicable building codes and manufacturer’s installation requirements for like installations for up to one year after installation.

Four Year Warranty
NorthWoods warrants the installation of products and materials to be free from defects in accordance with industry standards, applicable building codes and manufacturer’s installation requirements for like installations for up to four years after installation.

Ten Year Warranty
NorthWoods warrants certain structurally engineered components to be free of engineering defects, miscalculation and latent defects in accordance with industry standards, applicable building codes and manufacturer’s installation requirements for like installations for up to ten years after installation.

Manufacturer’s Warranty
All products and materials are subject to applicable individual manufacturer’s warranties and are assigned directly to the customer for the designated periods.

Assignment Duration
NorthWoods Warranty is assigned to the original customer, is not transferable and is terminated upon ownership change of the property.
